"Baluch rugs are tribal hand-woven rugs made in the southern part of Iran by nomadic Baluch tribes. Colors of Baluch rugs are usually predominantly a rich burgundy with some very dark navy blue and accents of ivory. They frequently have either an overall pattern, or a prayer rug design."

"Nomadic rugs are produced by nomads and semi-nomadic tribes whose lifestyles have traditionally revolved around breeding sheep and weaving. Little has changed throughout the centuries, and the rugs made today by this group remain true to their ancestor's rug-weaving methods and designs."
